Delete Account
Request deletion of your ShiftClub account and data, even if you've already uninstalled the app.
The quickest way is to sign in on the website and request deletion from your account settings: Log in and delete your account. If you've forgotten your password, you can reset it first.
You can also do it from the app: open ShiftClub and go to Settings › Delete account. Either way you get a 14-day window to change your mind: signing back in, in the app or on this website, cancels the request before anything is removed.
If you can't sign in at all, submit a request below and our team will process it manually. Include the email address or username on the account so we can find it. We may contact you at the account's email address to confirm it's you. Web-form requests are sent by email to our support team at support@slmedialabs.com; you can also email us there directly.
What happens to your data
ShiftClub is operated by SL Media Labs LLC. When you delete your account, your profile is hidden straight away and you are logged out everywhere. If you do nothing for 14 days, deletion runs automatically. Signing back in during those 14 days cancels it.
Deleted
- Your posts, Garage cars, Marketplace and vendor listings, likes, follows, blocks, mutes, community memberships, join requests, event RSVPs and mentions
- The photos in your community threads and replies
- Notifications, push notification tokens, usage and ad records, and AI-moderation records
- Your sign-in sessions and tokens, and your uploaded photos, videos and meet flyers from our storage
- Your username, bio, profile photo and business details (your email address and password are scrambled or removed from our sign-in system, and any Google or Apple login link is emptied)
Kept, without your name
- Direct messages, comments, discussion posts, community threads and replies, and community chat messages you wrote stay visible to the people they were shared with, shown under a generic "deleted_user" account
- Communities and meets you created stay under that account (meet flyers are removed)
- Car of the Month winner records stay, without photos or captions
Kept for safety
- Reports, bans and appeals involving your account are kept for as long as needed to act on abuse and repeat violations and to keep a record of moderation decisions
Backups
Copies in our database provider's daily backups may remain for about 7 days after deletion before they expire.
